Why Cold Process Soap?
Cold processed soap is made with lye (wood ash) which saponifies the natural oils that create glycerine. Glycerine has a variety of healthy benefits for the skin. All of my soaps are made with 5% or more of a super fat content. This means that the bars will have extra oils to help nourish and soften your skin with 0% of lye after being cured for approximately 4 weeks. The end result of the bar is a nice creamy and bubbly lather that will nourish your skin no matter what skin type you have and/or if you suffer from other skin problems.
